Social Justice League Presents…

SJL SEEKING SPOTLIGHTS

This June for Black Music Month, Social Justice League presents our inaugural National Youth Art Contest: SJL Seeking Spotlights.

Starting June 1st, participants across the country will have the opportunity to create and submit art pieces that reflect the influence of Black Music, both current & historical, on their lived experience and the overall cultural impact it’s had on their community. In each participating city, top submissions will be selected and amplified through local influencer & sponsor platforms. Finalists will be judged by public vote, and winners will be announced via our SJL Seeking Spotlights Virtual Awards Night on Wednesday, June 30th.

Starting June 1st, youth contestants will look behind the scenes in music & entertainment, connect with industry professionals, discover passions, and align career paths. Equipped with creative outlets, skills, tools, and network, each student will be uniquely positioned to achieve success. SJL's innovative approach unlocks talent by building a stage for youth to create their own spotlight.
