Just Us & Peace: Census 2020
After raising $819k for the National Urban League & NAACP LDF, SJL Co-Founders Max & Alex were introduced to MLB Pitcher Keone Kela who shared their passion for social impact. Keone connected us with South LA Music Artist, Joe Moses, and actively collaborated with our team to plan our first ever community initiative, focused on Census 2020, Voter Registration, and authentic community connection.
Just Us & Peace: National Hunger Relief
The Social Justice League joined Impact 6 in their 6-city national food drive organized in conjunction with Farmlink. Through our network, we helped expand the scope of their initiative to impact 10-cities. Overall, in a single day event, we worked with our partners to serve over 100,000 lbs of groceries, school supplies, clothing, PPE, and more to over 10,000 families across the country.
Just Us & Peace: Holiday Hook Up
SJL partnered with Interscope Records and local artist, Co Cash, to deliver a Holiday Drive in his hometown of Memphis, TN. Connecting corporate & community, SJL also teamed up with LITE Memphis, a grassroots organization dedicated to uplifting local Black & Latin-x youth. Together, we found creative ways to maximize our impact and capture value for Memphis families, Co Cash & Interscope.
