Keone Kela & Joe Moses x South LA

SJL Co-Founders Max Taw & Alex Sands were introduced to Keone by Max's "Uncle" Robert Fayne. After their first Zoom call, Keone & the SJL team got to work putting together the SJL's first ever grassroots initiative. Keone connected the team with Joe Moses (JM), who welcomed us to host alongside him in his city, South LA.

Through Keone's network / agency, JM’s community connections, and our value-driven delivery model, we were able to far exceed the expectations that we had set at the start of our 6-week journey. Working together, we realized the value of an athletes/artists influence when channeled into impact, as we secured contributions from the many brands, teams and organizations who already were invested in their talent.

Keone & JM brought immediate essentials & free local services to South LA, and used their influence to educate & inspire residents to participate in Census 2020 & Voter Registration. Take a look at the impact we created with this dynamic duo!
